On August 20, 2024, GAC introduced for the first time two high-class models, the All-New M8 and All-New GS8, to the Vietnamese market. These are pioneering luxury products, equipped with many advanced, modern conveniences and numerous safety features that have appeared for the first time in the Vietnamese market.

In Vietnam, on August 20, 2024, Tan Chong Group, through its subsidiary TCSV (TC Services Vietnam) – the official distributor of the GAC automotive brand, introduced two pioneering car models to the market: the All-New M8 and All-New GS8, alongside the expansion of its distribution network nationwide.

ALL-NEW M8: TRAVEL IN MASTERPIECE LUXURY

• Luxury Exterior Design

The All-New M8 captivates every gaze with its elegant and high-class design, a perfect combination of enjoyment, advanced technology, and meticulous attention to detail.

 The unique grille, inspired by the image of a lion king, features 10 vertical chrome bars extending from beneath the hood down to the front bumper area, exuding a majestic aura like that of a king, creating an impressive and unforgettable visual effect, combined with an LED headlight system capable of automatically adjusting the beam angle, signaling lights, guiding lights, and adapting automatically with 388 LED points. A small touch at the front of the car with the word “MASTER” affirms its pioneering position in the premium MPV segment.

Along with that, inspired by the design language “Star Diamond Shadow,” the body surface is shaped like a diamond cut, making the overall body of the car smooth and sharp, giving a sense of sophistication. The 18-inch high-gloss electroplated wheel hubs make the vehicle look like the Milky Way rotating when the vehicle is running. The exclusive “Non-Rotating LOGO” guarantees a luxurious & elegant style.

The rear of the car is inspired by the “Time Gate,” featuring upside-down “U” shaped taillights that connect with the headlights and maintain consistency with the overall design as well as the timeless aesthetics of the vehicle. The power tailgate is also an essential detail, not only helping users load and retrieve items conveniently but also enhancing the overall luxurious appearance of the car.

• Extremely comfortable interior

The interior design of the All-New M8 exudes luxury and sophistication. The interior space is equipped with high-quality materials, including a leather seat with a soft surface that provides an elegant feel. The driver’s seat is adjustable in 12 directions, with 8 electric adjustments, 4-way lumbar support, and a memory function that allows drivers to easily customize every seating angle to best suit their body. The second-row seats are fully equipped with features that provide a comfortable experience, resembling a business class cabin, including cooling and heating functions that ensure comfort in all weather conditions. Notably, the seats are equipped with a 10-point massage mode with high massage intensity, multiple modes, and options according to preferences.

The overall interior of the vehicle is adorned with decorative ambient lighting, making the interior space more vibrant. The sectional panoramic sunroof feature a starry sky effect to enhance luxurious atmosphere for customers. The three-zone automatic air conditioning system, along with an in-car fragrance diffusion system, ensures maximum comfort. The third-row seats can slide forward and backward to expand the cargo space, with various modes suitable for different usage needs.

The entertainment system stands out with a multifunctional 14.6″ entertainment screen that connects to Apple CarPlay and Android Phone, combined with a 12.3″ LCD multi-information display cluster, ensuring numerous entertainment options on long journeys. With an 8-speaker system cleverly arranged, the sound of the All-New M8 elevates the enjoyment of music to a new level.

• Extremely intelligent & safety

Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) 

In addition to active safety features such as: Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Hill Start Assist (HHC), Hill Descent Control (HDC), seat belts equipped with automatic tension and force limiting features, the All-New M8 is also equipped with advanced driving assistance systems to minimize the risk of collisions such as: 360-degree camera, Door Open Warning (DOW), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Intelligent Cruise Assist (ICA), Traffic Jam Assist (TJA), Blind Spot Detection (BSD), Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Brake Assist (RCTA+RCTB), Rear Collision Warning (RAW), Emergency Lane Keeping Assist (ELK).

The car is also equipped with 7 airbags (2 front airbags + 2 side airbags + 2 curtain airbags & a rear windshield airbag) to ensure comprehensive protection for the safety of the driver and passengers, along with other active and passive safety features.

Automatic Parking Assistance System (FAPA)

In particular, the car is equipped with the Automatic Parking Assistance System (FAPA). Through sensors and a 360-degree camera system around the vehicle, FAPA technology can automatically search for parking spaces on the left/right and automatically plan, calculate the parking trajectory, while controlling the steering wheel and vehicle speed.

Powerful and smooth operation on the high-strength GPMA 

The fourth-generation GAC 2.0TGDI high-performance engine delivers a maximum power of 248 horsepower and an impressive peak torque of 400 Nm. The power train enables quick acceleration and smooth operation, making it easy to navigate through crowded urban areas as well as on long journeys. The renowned Aisin (Japan) 8-speed automatic transmission provides quick responsiveness and smooth shifting. The car’s performance is ensured by the new GPMA (Global Modular Platform Architecture) chassis structure and optimized materials to achieve optimal force absorption and transmission.

ALL-NEW GS8: A NEW GENERATION OF PRESTIGE

• Exterior Design: The Authority Hidden in Elegance

The design language of the All-New GS8 exudes sophistication and authority with its robust and bold lines. The expanded and powerful grille features a chrome V-shaped mesh arranged in a symmetrical layout. The “Eye of the Conqueror” headlights symbolize the image of a warrior’s eyes with four bulbs and sharp lines that convey strength and authority. The design of the rear light cluster is inspired by the majestic sea-crossing bridge, with the light surface mimicking the facets of a “Ruby Diamond.” The 20-inch alloy wheels are designed to enhance the tall, sporty appearance of the vehicle.

• Elegant, sophisticated interior design

The overall interior space is connected to the exterior through the design language “Star Diamond Shadow.” The 14.6″ Multi-Functional Touch Screen & 12.3″ Full LCD Instrument Cluster providing various information contribute to a luxurious space and make it easy to choose from a diverse range of entertainment programs, fully connected with Apple CarPlay and Android Phone. The entertainment system stands out with 8 equipped speakers, promising to elevate the sound quality of the All-New GS8 to a new level.

The automatic 3-zone air conditioning system ensures coolness and warmth in all weather conditions. The driver’s seat is electrically adjustable in 6 directions and features 2-way lumbar support, ensuring the driver always maintains the most comfortable seating position. The soft leather material with a specially embroidered logo creates a bold and luxurious highlight. The interior space of the vehicle is connected to nature through a panoramic sunroof. The intelligent multi-color ambient lighting allows customers to customize according to their preferences.

The flexible 7-seat vehicle can be arranged in various ways to meet the maximum needs of the owner and passengers. The second-row seats can be easily folded down with just one button for entry/exit or to expand the luggage space as needed in practical usage situations.

• Superior Safety System

Safety is one of the top criteria for the All-New GS8. In addition to active safety features such as: Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Hill Start Assist (HHC), Hill Descent Control (HDC), and seat belts equipped with automatic tightening and force limit features, the All-New GS8 is also equipped with advanced driving assistance systems to minimize the risk of collisions on the road, including: 360-degree camera, Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Lane Keeping Assistance (LKA), Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Intelligent Cruise Assistance (ICA), Traffic Jam Assist (TJA), and many other features.
The car is also equipped with 6 airbags (including 2 front airbags, 2 side airbags, and 2 curtain airbags) to ensure maximum safety for passengers.

Megastar Chassis
The Megastar chassis system has been refined to achieve a balance between powerful performance and comfort, promising a smooth driving experience and stable handling. 

Similar to the All-New M8, the All-New GS8 features a GPMA (Global Modular Platform Architecture) chassis structure that defines the GAC brand, along with optimized materials to achieve optimal force absorption and transmission.

• Impressive performance and operational capability

The car is equipped with a 2.0L Turbo gasoline engine that integrates the 4th generation direct fuel injection from GAC, delivering a maximum power of 248 horsepower and a peak torque of 400 Nm, perfectly meeting the impressive acceleration capability and smooth operation whether moving in the city or on the highway. AVDC applies slight longitudinal acceleration/deceleration intervention to the vehicle during steering, so as to reduce the lateral acceleration and rolling of the vehicle and reduce the driver’s action load of the accelerator and steering wheel, improving cornering stability and driving comfort.
